About Our Village

Dalatia (Al-Deltiya) is a vibrant village, one of the 14 main villages of Osylat, located 37 kilometers southeast of Khartoum on the eastern bank of the Blue Nile. Our community is rich in history, culture, and tradition, with roots dating back to the historic Funj Kingdom era.

From our traditional agricultural Hawakir lands to modern community initiatives, Dalatia represents the perfect blend of heritage and progress. We invite you to explore our stories, celebrate our rich Sudanese culture, and become part of our warm community.

Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship 2026-28

The Erasmus Mundus Global MINDS Scholarship is a distinctive fully funded scholarship program for international students co-funded by the European Union. This 2-year Master's program provides exceptional global training in practical skills and scientific knowledge in social and cultural psychology. Students will study at multiple universities across Europe including Ireland, Portugal, Poland, and Norway. The first year includes two semesters of full-time coursework at two different universities, while the second year features a semester-long internship and a research-based thesis. This unique program combines both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in topics of significant social relevance such as migrant health, global mobility, adaptability, diversity, and inclusion.
